Keeping Ohioans safe and healthy during a pandemic starts with planning now – preparedness is everyone’s responsibility. During a pandemic, state and federal
resources will quickly reach overflow capacity. That is why local businesses, the agricultural community and private citizens need to prepare in their own communities.
Ohioans must get informed, be prepared and work together.
A kickoff to pandemic flu planning - The Ohio Pandemic Flu Planning Summit Feb. 17- stressed the importance of preparedness on all levels. At the summit, state officials, community leaders and industry
representatives participated in a panel discussion regarding cooperative approaches to pandemic planning. Some highlights follow.
